RRB Technician Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criterias 

Educational Qualification 

Technician GR-I Signal 

Candidates must have completed Bachelor of science in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognised University/Institute. OR B.sc in a combination of any streams of Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognised University/Institute. OR 

Three years diploma in engineering in the above Basic streams. OR 

Degree in Engineering in the above Basic streams or in combination of any above Basic streams.

Technician GR-III

Candidates should have completed Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognised institution of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Forger and Heat Treater/Foundryman/Pattern Maker/Moulder OR 

Matriculation/SSLC plus course completed Act Apprenticeship.

Age Limit

As per RRB Technician recruitment notifications candidates age limit is 

• Minimum Age - 18 Years

Salary

Technician Grade I Signal: Pay Level 5 (7th CPC) – Initial Pay Rs. 29,200/-

Technician Grade III: Pay Level 2 (7th CPC) – Initial Pay Rs. 19,900/-

Additional allowances such as DA, HRA, TA and other benefits will be admissible as per Railway rules for the respective pay levels.
